I saw this intense and well made Herzog doc over the weekend. Highly recommended! Ironicly, despite the inhospitable circumstance under which this guy was there, it made me once more nostalgic for Laos-

    excellent doc. herzog has made it into a feature film starring Leonardo DiCaprio. not kidding...should be released any day now.

    i hope the integrity is maintained in the Hollywood version!

      Herzog & DiCaprio. This ought to be interesting. I just watched "Stroszek" a few days ago and I'm continuously amazed at Herzog's ability to capture the "real" in the fictional. He did it with Wheel of Time, White Diamond, & Wild Blue Yonder. And Grizzly Man -- well it wasn't a film until it got the Werner treatment.
